दिल्ली: अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड घोटाला के आरोपी क्रिश्चियन मिशेल की जमानत अर्जी खारिज Delhi: Christian Mitchell's bail plea rejected by AgustaWestland scam

 न्यूज डेस्क  आगरा मीडिया  ::---.दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड वीवीआईपी हेलीकॉप्टर मामले के संबंध में गिरफ्तार किए गए कथित बिचौलिए क्रिश्चियन मिशेल की जमानत याचिकाएं खारिज कर दी. स्पेशल जज अरविंद कुमार ने मिशेल की अर्जियां यह कहते हुए खारिज कर दी कि राहत प्रदान करने के लिए पर्याप्त आधार नहीं है.

दुबई से प्रत्यर्पित कर लाए गए मिशेल को ईडी ने पिछले साल 22 दिसंबर को गिरफ्तार किया था. मिशेल के खिलाफ केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) और प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) की तरफ से मामले दायर हैं.

इस साल पांच जनवरी को मिशेल को ईडी द्वारा दर्ज मामले में न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया था. घोटाले के सिलसिले में सीबीआई द्वारा दर्ज अन्य मामले में भी वह न्यायिक हिरासत में है. मिशेल मामले के तीन कथित बिचौलियों में से एक है जिनकी जांच ईडी और सीबीआई कर रही हैं. अन्य दो बिचौलिए गुइदो हशके और कार्लो गेरोसा हैं.

Mitchell, who was extradited from Dubai, was arrested by the ED on December 22 last year. Cases have been filed against Mitchell on behalf of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED).

On January 5 this year, Mitchell was sent to judicial custody in a case registered by the ED. He is also in judicial custody in another case registered by the CBI in connection with the scam. Mitchell is one of the three alleged middlemen in the case, who are being investigated by the ED and the CBI. The other two middlemen are Guido Hasheke and Carlo Gerosa.
