 न्यूज डेस्क  आगरा मीडिया  ::---.आईएनएक्स मीडिया केस (INX Media Case) में तिहाड़ जेल (Tihar Jail) में बंद पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम (P Chidambaram) को रात भर नींद नहीं आई. रात के समय वह कई बार अपने तख्त से उठे और जेल के अंदर ही टहलते रहे. काफी देर तक टहलने के बाद वो वापस अपने तख्त पर बैठ गए. सूत्रों के मुताबिक, रात के समय उन्हें जो खाना दिया गया था वो भी उन्होंने नहीं खाया. तिहाड़ में दोपहर और रात के खाने में कैदियों को एक कटोरी दाल, एक सब्जी और 4-5 रोटियां दी जाती हैं. बताया जाता है कि पूरी रात चिदंबरम काफी बेचैन दिखाई दिए. शुक्रवार की सुबह उनकी शुरुआत टहलने से हुई.

पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम को गुरुवार की शाम तिहाड़ जेल लाया गया था. जेल अधिकारियों के अनुसार उन्हें अलग कोठरी और पश्चिमी शौचालय के अलावा कोई विशेष सुविधा नहीं दी गई है. अन्य कैदियों की तरह चिदंबरम को जेल के पुस्तकालय का उपयोग करने की छूट दी गई है और एक निश्चित समय तक टीवी देखने की भी अनुमति दी गई है. शाम को तिहाड़ जेल पहुंचने के बाद चिदंबरम का मेडिकल जांच कराया गया उसके बाद उन्हें जेल नंबर सात में रखा गया है. आम तौर पर प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के मामलों में आरोपियों को इसी जेल में रखा जाता है. उनके बेटे कार्ति को भी पिछले साल इसी मामले में उसी कोठरी में 12 दिनों तक रखा गया था.सूत्रों की मानें, तो पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम के साथ अन्य अंडरट्रायल कैदियों जैसा बर्ताव किया जाएगा. चिदंबरम को कोर्ट के आदेश और जेल मैनुअल के अलावा कोई अन्य सुविधा नहीं दी जाएगी. मैनुअल के मुताबिक चिदंबरम को रात नौ बजे से सुबह छह बजे तक कोठरी में रखा जाएगा. सुबह 6 से 7 बजे के बीच उन्हें उठना पड़ा. नाश्ते में दलिया, चाय और बिस्कुट या ब्रेड दिया जा सकता है. नाश्ते के बाद उन्हें व्यायाम करना है.यूपीए सरकार में गृह मंत्री रहे चिदंबरम को आईएनएक्स मीडिया भ्रष्टाचार मामले में 14 दिनों की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया है. वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता को उच्च सुरक्षा के बीच राउज एवेन्यू अदालत से एशिया की सबसे बड़ी जेल में लाया गया. जेल अधिकारियों को चिदंबरम को अदालत से जेल लाने में लगभग 35 मिनट लगे.
तिहाड़ जेल के डायरेक्टर जनरल संदीप गोयल ने न्यूज़ एजेंसी ANI को जानकारी दी कि पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम को जेल नंबर 7 और अलग बैरक में रखा जाएगा. वो अपने साथ जरूरी दवाएं और चश्मा रख सकते हैं. इसके अलावा कोर्ट के आदेशानुसार उन्हें सुरक्षा, वेस्टर्न टॉयलेट, टीवी और किताबें समेत अन्य सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जाएंगी.

After reaching Tihar jail in the evening, Chidambaram was subjected to a medical examination, after which he has been kept in jail number seven. Generally, in the cases of Enforcement Directorate, the accused are kept in this jail. His son Karti was also kept in the same cell for 12 days in the same case last year. According to sources, former finance minister P Chidambaram would be treated like other undertrial prisoners. Chidambaram will not be given any other facility other than court order and jail manual. According to the manual, Chidambaram will be kept in the closet from 9 am to 6 am. They had to get up between 6 and 7 am. Oatmeal, tea and biscuits or bread can be given for breakfast. He has to exercise after breakfast. Chidambaram, who was the home minister in the UPA government, has been sent to 14 days judicial custody in the INX Media corruption case. The senior Congress leader was brought to Asia's largest jail from the Rouse Avenue court amid high security. It took the jail authorities about 35 minutes to get Chidambaram from the court to jail.
Tihar Jail Director General Sandeep Goyal informed the news agency ANI that former Union Minister P. Chidambaram will be kept in jail number 7 and separate barracks. They can keep important medicines and glasses with them. Apart from this, they will be provided security, Western toilet, TV and books and other facilities as per the order of the court.
