चंद्रयान को आखिरी वक्त पर मिली असफलता के बाद जहां पूरा देश गमजदा है और भारतीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी इसरो के वैज्ञानिकों के साथ खड़ा है वहीं कांग्रेस नेता उदित राज ने उनपर तीखी टिप्पणी की है। उदित ने वैज्ञानिकों की धार्मिक आस्था पर सवाल खड़ा करते हुए उनकी आलोचना की जिसके बाद ट्विटर पर उन्हें काफी ट्रोल किया जा रहा है।लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान बीजेपी से कांग्रेस में शामिल हुए उत्तर-पश्चिम दिल्ली से सांसद उदित राज ने ट्वीट किया, 'हमारे इसरो वैज्ञानिकों ने अगर नारियल फोड़ने और पूजा पाठ के विश्वास की जगह वैज्ञानिक शक्ति और आधार पर विश्वास किया होता तो अब तक मिली आंशिक असफलता का मुंह न देखना पड़ता।'

इसरो द्वारा चंद्रमा की सतह पर चंद्रयान-2 के विक्रम लैंडर को उतराने का अभियान शनिवार को अपनी तय योजना के मुताबिक, पूरा नहीं हो सका। लैंडर का अंतिम समय में जमीनी स्टेशन से संपर्क टूट गया। हालांकि, चंद्रयान-2 का ऑर्बिटर पूरी तरह सुरक्षित और सही है।
