थाने में आत्मदाह: चंद्रवती की मौत पर ग्रामीणों में उबाल, घंटों नहीं उठने दिया शव Self-immolation in the police station: villagers boil over Chandravati's death, dead body not allowed to rise for hours

 न्यूज डेस्क  आगरा मीडिया  ::---.मथुरा के थाना सुरीर कोतवाली में पति जोगेंद्र के साथ 28 अगस्त को आग लगाने वाली चंद्रवती की दिल्ली के सफदरजंग अस्पताल में शुक्रवार की देर रात को मौत हो गई। इससे पूर्व 31 अगस्त को इसी अस्पताल में जोगेंद्र ने भी दम तोड़ दिया था। शनिवार दोपहर को जब चंद्रवती का शव गांव में पहुंचा तो लोग भड़क गए। 
दंपती की मौत के बाद गांव सुरीरकलां के लोगों में पुलिस के खिलाफ भारी गुस्सा था। लोगों का कहना था कि अगर पुलिस ने सुनवाई की होती तो दंपती को यह आत्मघाती कदम नहीं उठाना पड़ता। ग्रामीण प्रशासन से जमीन का पट्टा, बेटे को नौकरी और आर्थिक मदद की मांग कर रहे थे। गुस्साए ग्रामीणों ने घंटों शव नहीं उठने दिया।
गांव सुरीरकलां निवासी जोगेंद्र के साथ पड़ोसी मारपीट करते थे। शिकायत के बाद भी पुलिस ने कार्रवाई नहीं की। इससे दुखी दंपती ने खुद को आग लगी ली थी। दिल्ली के सफदरजंग अस्पताल में पति जोगेंद्र की मौत के बाद पत्नी चंद्रवती की भी हालत बिगड़ गई थी। दो दिन पहले उसे खून भी चढ़ाया गया लेकिन बचाया नहीं जा सका।

Earlier on 31 August, Jogendra also died in the same hospital. On Saturday afternoon, when Chandravati's body reached the village, people were agitated.
After the death of the couple, there was a lot of anger against the police among the people of village Surirakalan. People said that if the police had conducted the hearing, the couple would not have to take this suicidal step. The villagers were demanding land pattas, jobs and financial help to the son. Angry villagers did not let the dead body rise.
The village SuriKalan resident used to beat up neighbor with Jogendra. The police did not take action even after the complaint. The unhappy couple set themselves on fire. After the death of husband Jogendra at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, wife Chandravati's condition also worsened. He was also offered blood two days ago but could not be saved.
